Just a quick note to say that as the school term approaches, we are just now getting organized. Stay tuned, but I suspect we can start taking names in the next week or so.
Just a reminder, we currently offer three main fieldtrip opportunities:
Science Creative Literacy Symposia (Grade 5 to 7 level – science and creative writing sessions)
DNA Fingerprint Lab (Grade 11 to Grade 12 level – full on fingerprint lab, where students go from isolating their own DNA to performing a PCR reaction to access a genetic marker).
Bioinformatics Fieldtrip (Grade 8 to 10 – full on computational biology lab, where students will get a whirlwind tour of the amazing on-line scientific resources available for life science research).
