AMBL is excited to announce a new field trip program aimed at Grade 9 students. We’ve just finished a pilot program with six lucky classrooms. Our full program launch is slated for September 2009. Here’s what students are saying,

“This field trip is awesome, it’s fun and you will learn a lot of things.”
“You learn lots, it’s like connecting the dots your missing from what you learn in school.”
“It’s a great hands-on learning experience with modern twists”

Teacher feedback was also overwhelmingly positive with many comments saying that our new program, “fits well with Science 9, extends the curricula beyone the IRPs and helps to bring Science up to the 21st Century.” We appreciate this valuable input from students and teachers who participated in our recent pilot.

If you are interested in attending this program, please ask your teacher to contact AMBL. The first classroom bookings for this program will be accepted in September 2009. Keep your eye on www.bioteach.ubc.ca for more information.

This new field trip opportunity is supported by the NSERC PromoScience federal funding program. If you would like more information on this program, please contact Dr. Joanne Fox, joanne@msl.ubc.ca, 604-827-3911
